Baka Communications is a leading provider of wireless solutions to both the public and corporate clients.
In order to remain competitive in the fast paced cellular industry, they were looking for a complete rewrite of their existing web portal
to ensure that they would be able to remain flexible, and thus competitive, for years to come.
Baka's site is unique in the industry given that it is very customizable which includes the ability to create hundreds of unique accounts which all have specific pricing and settings.
Adding to the complexity is a pricing structure based on a mobile service provider that has many different rate plans, terms and options which all dictate and change the up-front hardware cost.
The major challenge in building the new Baka.ca online ordering portal was to create a real-time price based on tens of thousands of variables.
Robert was successful in creating this pricing system on top of creating the back bone for this very high traffic site.
